Pray

Pray with us

Prayer is our go-to. Long before the first Sunday there's prayer, and it's the most useful thing anyone can do for Fount right now.

"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain."

Psalm 127:1

What we're praying for

Pray for these with us, and pray for anything else on your heart for the island.

  1. 01

    The island

For the 140,000 people who live here. That they'd come to know Jesus, and find the life they were made for.

  2. 02

    The churches already here

That every gospel church on the island would flourish. We're cheering them on, and we'd love you to pray for them too.

  3. 03

    A home in Newport

We're finalising a venue. Pray that it's the right place, and that it becomes somewhere people meet God.

  4. 04

    The people getting ready

A small group is already meeting to pray and prepare for March. Pray they'd stay close to Jesus and to each other as the work grows.

  5. 05

    Dave, Kat and their family

For their marriage, their children and their health, and for Dave as he leads the church.

  6. 06

    Our first Sunday

For 7 March 2027, and for everyone who walks through the door, especially people who've never been to church.

"The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

Matthew 9:37-38
